THERE WILL BE NO CLASS 7/29/19 due to a schedule conflict. Class will be 8/5/19, 8/12/19, & 8/19/19.

Primitive ceramics are a fantastic survival skill, a science, and an art. Fired ceramic is highly resistant to degradation, which, along with stone, makes it the voice of the Ancients. Come connect with the cultures of the world through the study of this primitive technology.

In this course we will introduce the harvesting of clay, the preparation of temper and grog, pinch and coil pots, forming clay bodies, curing, firing, and finishing.

Participants will walk away with their own ceramic pot.
